Harry Klynn’s first appearances occurred under the wing of G. Ikonomidis in the big night clubs of that time “Kastro”, “Vrahos” and in the historic open air bars “Alsos” and “ Green Park”. In the theatre, he appeared for the first time in the summer of 1959, at the “Acropol”, on the side of the unforgettable Rena Dor, in an act of his own inspiration (hula houp). He continued at “Hatzihristos” Theatre and “Theatre Vembo” as an entertainer. At that same time, his delightful items in “Proina” by G. Ikonomidis at the stage of “Rex” and with Lambros Zounis in Pireus, elevated him as a first class stand up comedian. His pantomimes left a mark in the night life of his time and lead him to become, within the next three years, the top entertainer and program host at the largest cabarets in Athens (Argentina, Arizona, Copa Cabana) which literarily flourished at the time.
