Q: What is his real name?
Á: His real name is Vasilios Nikolaou Triantafyllidis
Q: When was he born?
Á: May 7th, 1940
Q: What is his place of birth;
Á: Thessaloniki
Q: How tall is he;
Á: As he usually says, he measures about 1.70 without the heels so we’d better believe him.
Q: How much does he weigh?
Á: His ideal weight would be 70 kilos but, for the time being he is about 10 kilos over that. (Goes on a diet every Monday as usual …)
Q: Is he smoking;
Á: Harry has been a compulsive smoker, but even late in his life he realized that it is a stupid habit which can only cause harm. Although he might joke about it on stage when he says “there’s nothing as easy as quitting smoking, I’ve done it ten times today” but in truth he has not tasted a cigarette since 1997!
Q: What size of shoes does he wear;
Á: 42-43
Q: What were his parent’s names?
Á: His father was Nikolaos and his mother Kyriaki.
Q: Does he have any brothers or sisters?
Á: He has a sister named Stella
Q: Is he married?
Á: Harry met his wife, Hariklia, in Chicago and the got married in 1965.
Q: Does he have any children?
Á: He has three children. Two boys (Nikolaos and Apostolos) and one girl (Kiriaki). Now he has a grand daughter, Hariklaki, from his son, Nikos.
Q: Which school did he attend?
Á: He went to Kalamaria Primary School and moved on to the 5th Boy’s High school of Thessaloniki.
Q: Did he go to an actor’s school or is he self-taught?
Á: Harry went to Pellos Katselis Drama School ( 1959-1962)
Q: Does he have an e-mail ?
Á: How could he not? But that little detail we cannot share with you. However, you can contact him through the guest book on this official site or through the contact form.
Q: Does he surf the net?
Á: We do not know. However, it is well known that Harry is a big fan of technology and one of the first internet users in Greece, as he has repeatedly stated in his interviews… so…

Á: Red and Black.
Q: What is his favorite food?
Á: Black bread, olives and feta cheese.
Q: What is his favorite music?
Á: In Greek music, that would be traditional Pontian themes, Rebetiko, popular bouzouki music, and alternative greek. As far as international music is concerned his heart lies with rock in all its forms and expressions.
Q: Is he involved in any business?
Á: Harry is president of the entertainment and cultural company “ASTRA SHOW VISION AND SOUND”, one of the biggest and best known promoter companies in Greece.
Q: What is his relation to «GAGRIN 205 LIVE MUSIC SPACE»
Á: GAGRIN 205 is a privately owned venue belonging to ASTRA, president of which is Harry Klynn.
Q: Is he blood related to director Nikos Triantafyllidis?
A:Nikos Triantafyllidis is his son.
Q: Which was his first movie?
Á: Short length film “SIGHISI” confusion which was shot in 1960 by Dimitris Galatis.
Q: Where can we get old Harry Klynn records?
Á: Only in record shops specializing in vinyl sales. If you’re lucky there is a chance you can get some of his old records there. However it has been announced that his whole works will be soon released in digital form too…
Q: Which of his films does he consider to be the best?
Á: We believe it is “ALALOUM” (Chaos) but it’s quite possible that Harry has a different opinion.
Q: How is he like on his everyday life?
A: Your normal average person… or at least that’s what he says.
Q: Which football team does he support?
Á: APOLLO KALAMARIAS to which he was president for about five years.
Q: Is there any chance we might see him tour in America and Canada as he did some years before?
Á: From what we know, his wish to visit America is huge and he will be surely including it in the World Tour he is preparing in the next years.
Q: Does he intend to reappear in a boite (local underground clubs)?
Á: From what we know he would like that very much.
Q: What sign is he?
Á: Taurus
Q: Will he be reappearing on television?
Á: Yes, we will soon see him again on TV.
Q: When is his next Greek Tour?
Á: Probably the winter after this one.
Q: When will his new record be released?
Á: In 2005.
